And speaking of advanced technologies, the new 2017 Mazda3 will offer a broad range of them including the new and very cool G-Vectoring Control (GVC) technology, the first of the automaker’s SKYACTIV®-VEHICLE DYNAMICS series of technologies and systems. GVC finds its origins in the automaker’s philosophy of developing vehicles with people first in mind. It adjusts power from the engine according to input from the steering system to enhance handling and performance and to provide a smooth feel. Additionally, GVC helps the car provide better traction and handling on slick and unpaved surfaces.
GVC is part of the automaker’s SKYACTIV®-VEHICLE DYNAMICS technology, which Mazda intends to help drivers form a bond with their vehicle, and to give drivers a feeling of Jinba Ittai performance. According to Mazda President and CEO Masamichi Kogai, “Mazda is striving to become an irreplaceable presence in the lives of our customers, to create a special bond with them and to be a ‘one-and-only’ brand they will choose again and again… In order to do that, we will continue updating our models with next-generation technologies based on our human-centered development philosophy, without concern for the timing of redesigns.”
