Oftentimes, Mazda warning lights are your first clue that something is amiss in your vehicle. We encourage you to reference this guide if you see a warning light illuminated – and schedule service right away at Heritage Mazda Bel Air to get it repaired.

Airbag Light

This light indicates that your airbag(s) or system is faulty. An airbag can save your life in an accident so don’t delay getting it repaired.

Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Light

Your ABS keeps your vehicle from locking up when you stop suddenly. For your safety, you should always have your vehicle inspected ASAP if this warning light is on.

Check Engine Light

There are a number of issues that can cause your check engine light to illuminate. We have a diagnostic tool to determine the culprit, so make sure to bring your vehicle by in case it’s something serious.

Engine Oil Light

This warning light, which looks like a dripping oil can, means that your oil level is low.

Engine Temp Light

If your engine temp light comes on, it typically means that your coolant level is low, but there could be other issues at play, especially if other warning lights are lit as well.

Security Indicator Light

The security indicator light looks like a car with a giant padlock on it. If it’s on, you have an issue with your vehicle’s anti-theft system.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPSM) Light

This light, which resembles the bottom of a tire and has an exclamation point in the middle, means that your tire pressure is low in one or more of your tires.

Wrench Light

The wrench icon is a reminder that it’s time to schedule auto maintenance.
